medical interpreting.

with medical interpreters.

Culturally-Specific Communities
This unit will address:
One cultural group
addressing topics such as: history, religious practices, communication styles, cultural
beliefs and practices, and traditional
health care practices.

Somali culture and Mental Health. (for pricing see customized training

Participants will:
Gain an increased
understanding of the cultural community discussed.

Cross-Cultural Mental Health
This unit will address:
Three cross-cultural factors
effecting mental health.
The impact of migration on mental

mental health.
Be able to describe some traditional
treatment for mental health.
Identify the stages of the refugee
process, and its impact on health.

This unit is designed with the client
